New Haven Ballet Community Concerts offer audiences the opportunity to experience live ballet performances at various local venues across the Greater New Haven Region. They are a vital part of New Haven Ballet, allowing residents to engage with the arts and fostering community connections. Furthermore, they provide an excellent way to introduce classical ballet and music to audiences of all ages while providing New Haven Ballet students with additional performing opportunities.

Our Summer Intensive is off to a wonderful start, and our dancers are already benefiting from an exceptional faculty that includes:
Harrison Coll, Soloist, New York City Ballet
Maria Balogh, former Principal Dancer, Lyric Opera Ballet and Fort Worth Ballet
Claire Kretzschmar, Artistic Director, Ballet Hartford; former Soloist, New York City Ballet
Savannah Durham, Corps de Ballet, New York City Ballet
Laurel Lynch, former Principal Dancer, the Mark Morris Dance Group
By the conclusion of the intensive, dancers from ballet schools throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York will have spent two weeks immersed in rigorous training. We can already see some refinement in their technique and artistry, and we are enjoying building new friendships. Working with distinguished artists provides an inspiring environment that encourages both technical excellence and artistic growth.
We invite you to join us as we conclude the intensive with a lecture demonstration.
