2026 January New Student Special

A Month of Classes for $60, Ages 3-9

Have an imaginative little one who loves to move and twirl? This January New Haven Ballet invites new students ages 3 to 9 to try a full month of ballet classes for just $60. It’s a fun and nurturing introduction to ballet, and an incredible way to brighten the winter months. We can’t wait to welcome your dancer into the studio and share the joy of movement together!

Added Benefit
If your dancer registers for the spring 2026 semester, the $60 January fee will be applied toward spring tuition.

Children’s Division

At New Haven Ballet, we believe a child’s first ballet experience should be joyful, inspiring, and nurturing. Our youngest dancers are welcomed into bright, spacious studios where they can explore movement, music, and creativity under the guidance of some of the region’s finest instructors.

Our gentle approach syllabus is specially designed for children, using age- and grade-appropriate exercises that introduce the basics of ballet while encouraging imagination, coordination, and musicality. As children grow, they gain the skills, focus, and confidence to transition into our more advanced Student Division.

Students in Creative Ballet and above are invited to audition and perform in The Nutcracker and Spring Performance at the Shubert Theatre — a magical experience for dancers and families alike.

1st Steps – 3K Pre-K

A playful introduction to ballet that celebrates creativity, movement to music, and early motor skill development.

Creative Ballet I – 4K Pre-K

Encourages natural creativity and coordination, introducing basic ballet concepts through fun, imaginative activities.

Creative Ballet II – Kindergarten

Builds on Creative Ballet I with more structured exercises, expanding vocabulary and preparing students for performance opportunities.

Pre-Ballet – 1st Grade

The first step toward formal ballet training, focusing on posture, basic technique, and musical awareness while keeping the joy of movement alive.

Primary – 2nd Grade

Strengthens technical skills, musicality, and focus, preparing dancers for the graded Student Division and future artistic growth.
