This has been a wonderful Spring 2023 and we are proud of the progress our students have made this year. To celebrate New Haven Ballet will offer three spring performances:

May 19, 6:30 p.m., DanceAIR performs at ECA ACES Arts Hall Free Admission

May 27, 1:00 p.m., New Haven Ballet School, the Company, Shared Ability, Neighborhood Music Premier Quartet, Music Haven’s Pomegranates String Quartet, and more perform at the Shubert Theatre New Haven.

June 9, 6:00 p.m., New Haven Ballet performs on the Branford Green

We hope to see you there!

New Haven Ballet’s adaptive dance program welcomed new and veteran dancers this weekend. Lead by faculty member Kerry Kincy and facilitated by New Haven Ballet students, it is not too late to join us on Sunday afternoons in our sunny and spacious studios. We look forward to seeing this group perform at the Shubert Theatre on May 27, 2023!

New Haven Ballet Artistic Director, Lisa Kim Sanborn, announced that auditions for the student company will be held on Friday, January 20. Auditions are open to all Level 5-8 students who wish to perform in the Spring Performance on May 27, 2023 at the Shubert Theatre New Haven. Pre-registration is required.

Donor support and grants make bringing people together and giving back to the community possible. In 2022 New Haven Ballet was able to offer two free community performances. In this video take a look behind the scenes as we transform the Dixwell Community House (Q House) gymnasium into a beautiful performance space to share the magic of the holidays with the the City of New Haven.

New Haven Ballet wishes to thank Raeanne Reynolds, Principal of the Francis Walsh Intermediate School, and Frank Carrano of the Branford Arts and Cultural Alliance for partnering with New Haven Ballet this past weekend. The dancers were beautiful and the performance was a resounding success. We are grateful to everyone who supported the ballet by attending the performance. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Our next free performance is December 4 at 4:00 p.m. at the Dixwell Community House “Q House” located at 197 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.
